Alistair Cowin was educated in England, studied architecture but took up fashion design on leaving University. In the early 80’s, his interest changed to recording fashion instead of creating it and he opened his first fashion photographic studio in Knightsbridge.  Alistair then moved to the U.S.A. to pursue his photographic career. After a 12-year stint in Los Angeles. He moved to Miami where he opened a unique studio complex and production centre called Center Stage.  In 1998 he started experimenting with digital images and finally returned to Europe to spread the word about the marvels of digital photography.
Now working between France and the UK, Alistair has become an expert in this field and as well as shooting digitally, he also writes about digital imagery for a number of well-known publications.
